How to Accept a Team Member Invitation

Welcome to the team! If you have received an email invitation to join a Switchboard account, you are a few clicks away from collaborating on your organization's broadcasts. Accepting this invitation lets you securely access the shared workflow and manage streams without setting up a new subscription.

What can Team Members of a Switchboard Account do?

✅ Team Members ARE able to:

  • Add Destinations

  • Create Groups

  • Schedule Events

  • Use ParnterShare

  • Go Live

Team Members will NOT be able to

  • Change the Stream Key in the Encoder workflow.

  • Invite other team members.

Follow the steps below to verify your identity, set your password, and log in to the team dashboard.


Step 1: Open Email Invite

Open the email invitation from Switchboard Live.

  • Search your inbox for the subject line: Switchboard Live | Account Access Invite

The body of the email should display the following:

  • Sender ( the person or organization inviting you)

  • The Sender’s Email address.

  • Sender’s Company name.

Click Reset Password.

A new window will open.

Step 2: Request Password Reset

  1. Type in your email address.
    Note: Please enter the email address that received the invitation.

  2. Click Send Password Reset Email.

  3. A password reset email will be sent to your email.

Step 3: Open the Password Reset Email

  1. Open the Password reset email.

  2. Click reset password. A new window will open.

Step 4: Reset Password

  1. Enter your email address.

  2. Enter the New password.

  3. Confirm New password

  4. Click Reset Password.

Congratulations! Now you are part of the Team!


Now that you are logged into Switchboard

Click on the upper right to see account details.

A drop-down menu will display the following:

  • Name of your Account.

  • List of accounts you have access to.

  • Subscription plans for each account.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure you are working in the correct Switchboard Account before making any changes to the Workflow or Going Live.

Troubleshoot:

If you don’t see an email from Switchboard live, please check your junk mail or spam folder.

For the invitation email

Look for this subject line:

Switchboard Live | Create Account

If you still don't see the email in your inbox, ask the account owner to remove you and send a new invitation.


For the Password Reset Email

Look for this subject line:

Switchboard Live | Password Reset Request
